How it works

Rather than maximising outright power, an economy-focused remap recalibrates torque delivery so the engine works less hard for the same amount of driving, particularly noticeable on motorway and longer commuter journeys.
Real-world fuel savings depend on driving style, vehicle condition, and journey type, so we don't quote fixed mpg figures, but many diesel owners find the drive noticeably more relaxed day to day.
